MEMBERS
There are over 3,000 members of the Knox County Farm Bureau®. The members are the "grassroots" of the organization. Every decision made by the Board and staff is done with the members' best interests in mind and to benefit them and their operations.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Twenty-two directors make up the Knox County Farm Bureau® Board of Directors, all of which are farmers and/or landowners in Knox county. The Directors carry out Knox County Farm Bureau® policy and make decisions on behalf of the members. Twenty of the directors are elected by the membership to represent a district, comprised of four townships. Two of the directors represent the Young Farmers Committee and the Women's Committee.

A group of Knox County Farm Bureau® volunteers
that meet every other month to implement programs promoting agricultural commodities and safety.PrimeTimers Committee
The PrimeTimers is a group of Knox County Farm Bureau® members ages 55 and older who gather together on a monthly basis for fellowship, potlucks
and programs. The group usually meets the third Wednesday of each month.

The Young Farmers Committee is made up of Knox County Farm Bureau® members ages 35 and under with a common interest - agriculture. Farmers and non-farmers, alike, are involved in this group, which meets on a monthly basis. The Young Farmers have incorporated many social functions into their Program of Work, and always include families. Their main focus areas are on safety, leadership development, and promoting Farm Bureau.
STAFF
The professional staff employed by the Knox County Farm Bureau® Board of Directors works in cooperation with the Board to carry out the administrative duties of the organization, along with the day to day affairs.
All members of the Knox County Farm Bureau® are urged to become involved in the organization. There are various programs, opportunities, and decisions that need to be made for your benefit.Consider this to be your invitation to get involved.
