Founded for the purposes of:
Research, Education, Conservation & Leadership Development

THE FOUNDATION

The Knox County Farm Bureau® Foundation, incorporated in 1985, is a not-for-profit, tax
exempt entity to develop and promote the agriculture industry in Knox County.
Since it's incorporation, the Foundation has helped promote the
importance of agriculture through providing:
  • Support for the Ag in the Classroom efforts in Knox County,
  • Scholarships for college bound seniors studying agriculture,
  • Internships for Knox County college students, and
  • Scholarships to Knox County elementary teachers attending the Summer Ag Institute.


CONTRIBUTIONS
There are many ways to contribute support to the Knox County Farm Bureau® Foundation. Because the Foundation is a nonprofit entity, organized under the IRS Code 501 301(c)(3), you can deduct your gift as allowed by law.
 
Contributions can be gifts of  property, grain, cash, transfer of a CD, bequests, charitable remainder trusts, a matching gift, annuity trusts or a gift of life insurance. Special memorials and endowments may also be given for the establishment of ongoing programs and/or scholarships in the memory of a family member or other loved ones with the approval of the Foundation Board.
