THE FOUNDATION
The Knox County Farm Bureau® Foundation, incorporated in 1985, is a not-for-profit, tax
exempt entity to develop and promote the agriculture industry in Knox County.
Since it's incorporation, the Foundation has helped promote the
importance of agriculture through providing:
- Support for the Ag in the Classroom efforts in Knox County,
- Scholarships for college bound seniors studying agriculture,
- Internships for Knox County college students, and
- Scholarships to Knox County elementary teachers attending the Summer Ag Institute.
There are many ways to contribute support to the Knox County Farm Bureau® Foundation. Because the Foundation is a nonprofit entity, organized under the IRS Code 501 301(c)(3), you can deduct your gift as allowed by law.
Contributions can be gifts of property, grain, cash, transfer of a CD, bequests, charitable remainder trusts, a matching gift, annuity trusts or a gift of life insurance. Special memorials and endowments may also be given for the establishment of ongoing programs and/or scholarships in the memory of a family member or other loved ones with the approval of the Foundation Board. Those interested in contributing to the Knox County Farm Bureau® Foundation should contact Josh Gibb, Foundation Treasurer.
